I've been looking for a book like this for a while that really delves into the how and why of creating manga expressions. It's a shame it's only about a third of the book, but what is there is excellent.My biggest gripe about the book is that in the section detailing how to draw the head from different angles, the female head is that of a kid, while the male head looks like a teenager. It comes off a bit weird, but is ultimately passable.
